If you leave without a guide, you will need at least a pedestrian pass or a ski pass, depending on where you practice hiking. Renting snowshoes will also be indispensable if you don’t have your own. You will find everything you need at the best price in our shops. We advise you to avoid leaving the marked places, locate your route well in advance, and respect it. Estany de les Abelletes, Le Peretol, or Les lacs de Pessons, there are many snowshoeing routes in Grandvalira, the largest ski area in southern Europe.

Ski forfait and snow skates

To participate in a guided outing with snowshoes in the sectors Pas de La Case and Pas de La Case - Grau Roig, you won’t need a ski pass. Everything is included in the price of your outdoor activity, even equipment rental. For departures in the El Tarter sector, if you do not already have a ski pass, you will be offered a pedestrian forfeit at the time of booking. However, the price of the activity does not include the optional insurance of 5.90*, which you can take at the time of booking. This exclusive insurance covers all activities in the ski area.

Precautions and equipment

Like all snow leisure activities, in Pas de La Casa snowshoeing is practiced with warm and waterproof clothing, a pair of gloves, and snow boots. As much as what you wear on top does not ultimately matter much, especially when the sun is out, it would be unthinkable to put on snow skates on lambda shoes, even if they are high-top sneakers. To have the best experience, beyond mountain shoes, crea,m and sunglasses can also be very useful.

Le Pas, Grau Roig, or El Tarter: What are the conditions?

To practice the guided activity in the Andorran Pyrenees, it is necessary to be at least 12 years old. Guided outings are offered every day, with a minimum of 2 people, except for guided excursions through the Pas de La Case sector, where guided snowshoe tours are practiced with a minimum of 4 people, and only on Thursdays and Saturdays. Possibly in Grau Roig and Pas de La Case town, snowshoeing at night is also a magnificent opportunity to experience extraordinary moments!

  • 2 hours: 36 euros per person (4 pax mini)
  • 2 hours at night: 55 euros per person (5 pax mini, departure 6 pm)

Activity and adventure center: El Pas - Grau Roig

  • 2 hours: 36 euros per person (2 pax mini)
  • 3 hours (half day): 79 euros per person (2 pax mini)
  • 5 hours (day): 150 euros per person (2 pax mini)
  • 2 hours at night: 55 euros per person (2 pax min, departure 17, 18, 19 hours)

(In case of "solo" departure, a 50% surcharge will be applied)

El tarter

Practiced with a guide outside the ski area, the snow shoes activity is offered from two people over 6 years old. The price per person includes the loan of equipment, and ski pass isn’t necessary. Meet at 9 a.m. at the school in the Obac building located in El Tarter with your mountain shoes.
3 hours snowshoe hike on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
