Grandvalira: the legendary ski resort in the Pyrenees
The Principality’s ski paradise
With more than 124 mi (200 km) of ski slopes, Grandvalira is the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees. It is comprised of 6 sections that are connected by a massive yet efficient network of ski lifts. Freeride, freestyle and many other activities (snowshoes, sleds, mushing, etc.) are also available.

Pas de la Casa
The village is located at the French border and is typically used by the French to gain entry into Andorra. It is located at the eastern end of the Grandvalira ski resort. The ski area has a variety of snowy slopes between 6,561 and 8,202 feet above sea level.
Grau Roig
At the foot of the mountain Pic Blanc, this section spreads out into the valley near Pas de la Casa, going down to the Port of Envalira towards Andorra la Vella. The sun is often shining here, bringing a pleasant atmosphere to its lovely forests.
Soldeu and El Tarter
Ski enthusiasts love Soldeu and El Tarter. These two villages are located 5,577 to 5,905 feet below Grau Roig.
Canillo and Encamp
A little further west lays Canillo, a magnificent stone village, located at an elevation of 4,921 feet. Access to the Grandvalira ski resort from this village is easy. Encamp is close too, which is not really considered to be a ski resort, but the Funitel brings skiers to the ski areas in no time!
