Tubbing, or the art of hurtling down snowy slopes sitting on a buoy

Well beyond skiing and snowboarding, the spearheads of winter sports, snow offers many other opportunities to have a good time and enjoy the joys of winter in Andorra. Snowtubbing ranks at the top of the list of new favorite leisure activities for families during the winter holidays. If you do not know yet, it is urgent to try it during your next trip to the Andorran Pyrenees! Snowtubbing consists of sitting on a big buoy (the giant "inflatable donut" used by Water Parks) to start sliding on a specially designed snowy track dotted with banked turns and tunnels. Between sledding and bobsleighing, the boat portends incredible sensations and high risks of laughter!

Under what conditions can you experiment with this other way of sliding on the snow?

A leisure activity available from Christmas 2023 in the Andorran Pyrenees, even after-ski!

Made up of bends and tunnels, the Snowtubbing by Dots circuit will open from Christmas 2023 in the Pas de La Casa – Grau Roig sector. The activity should even be available beyond the end of the ski season. With lighting allowing you to continue your practice under the stars, this ultra-fun winter sport should quickly become one of the playful spots of reference for winter evenings in Pas de la Casa. A family activity that should soon attract many holidaymakers!

Who is authorized to discover the snowtubbing activity in Pas de La Casa this winter?

Anyone from the age of 6 can experience Snowtubbing by Dots in the Grandvalira ski area, if their physical condition allows it. From 6 to 8 years old, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Leisure is strongly discouraged for pregnant women, people with heart problems, wearers of equipment, and people with epilepsy. Of course, reduced mobility, severe lower back pain, or severe joint pain, for example, will likely limit your comfort on the circular mattress and compromise the experience.
